Method

Cut from heavyweight 6.1 oz ringspun cotton, garment-dyed for the soft, lived-in fall that distinguishes a coat of arms from a uniform. Each piece is drop-shoulder, double-needle stitched, and pre-shrunk so the proof holds after the proving.

Cold wash, inside out. Hang to dry — the dye prefers air to heat. Iron on the reverse if needed. Treat the piece kindly; it is meant to age, not to fade.
